The Europa House, just one block from campus, is an award-winning, beautifully-maintained building complex. It has the largest apartments certified by the University of Illinois, where every student enjoys double the floor space (quadruple the closet space) of typical Residence Hall quarters.
We're nestled in a quiet, historic residential neighborhood. On the grounds, you'll find an outdoor swimming pool, with waterfall, water slide and sun deck, as well as a parking garage for residents. The entrance level includes the House Director's residence, laundry facilities, and a social lounge with fireplace and wide-screen television for satellite reception. An elevator serves all four floors.
Each modern apartment features a room-sized balcony, large living room with dining area, kitchen (with ample counter & cupboard space, conventional & microwave ovens, stove top & range, refrigerator and dishwasher), full bath (with two lavatories, plus shower & tub), and two bedrooms with spacious closets. Contemporary furniture, wall-to-wall carpeting, individually-controlled central heating & air-conditioning, intercom system, and multiple ports for phone, TV (aerial, cable or DSS), and our Ethernet LAN (with high-speed Internet link) are all standard.
Here, each student eats just what he or she wants to! Indeed, living at the Europa House (including food expenses) costs less than staying in any University Residence Hall.
