Stratford House opened in 1949 but moved into a nice new house in 2006! Stratford is a self-governed Christian cooperative sponsored by the Baptist Housing Ministry at the University of Illinois. Students from many Christian backgrounds have made Stratford their home during their college years. Stratford women enjoy a warm, home-like atmosphere that is helpful for growth in faith, academics, and friendship.  Stratford offers various intramural sports opportunities, and has many social functions with our brother house – Koinonia Christian Cooperative. Stratford is substance-free, and offers double and triple air conditioned rooms. Stratford is located on-campus, only 3 1/2 blocks from the U of I Quad, on the campus bus route. The house is open all year and provides amenities such as a workout room, a piano, and, high speed internet.  Parking in available for an additional fee.
